- 12:15pm "Rumba & Latin Styling" - An in-depth look at American
Style Rumba, review of basic figures with some advanced figures thrown
in, as well as an over-view of latin styling and technique.
-12:30pm - 1:45pm "Waltz & Smooth Styling" - American waltz with
variations of traditional figures and smooth technique. Emphasis will
be placed on proper footwork as well as lead/follow technique.
-2:00pm
- 3:15pm "Salsa" - The basics as well as the latest moves of one of
today's most popular latin dances. After this lesson you'll be able to
impress your friends and hold your own on the dance floor!
-3:30pm - 4:45pm "Cardio Ballroom" - Learn samba and jive technique and
moves in this fun, aerobic dance class. Enjoy ballroom movement as you
shape up your ballroom technique and physique.
Workshop prices - 1 workshop = $15, 2 workshops = $27, 3 workshops = $35, 4 workshops = $45

CONTACT BALLROOM COMPANY AUDITIONS!
For
ballroom dancers interested in increased performance opportunities, a
higher level of ballroom training, and those who wish to improve upon
their own talent! Auditions will take place at Dancespace Studios on
Thursday, August 28th at 6:00pm. Dancers should arrive early to
complete paperwork, warm-up, and stretch. Please bring a head-shot,
and dress appropriately for the audition. The audition will consist of
an interview, a short class in which a combination will be taught, and
general dancing to judge lead/follow ability. There will also be an
audition prep class, for anyone interested, on Thursday, August 21 at
6:00pm. This prep class is not required to be eligible to audition.
The cost of this class is $5 and will detail everything you will need
to know for the audition. Please contact Aaron with any questions at

Hey everyone! I am excited to announce that Swing Night is officially back. Tuesday nights at Rumor, off of Clayton St. and Wall St. downtown. Rumor is above The Village Idiot. Dancing starts at 10 pm. Cover is $4.
BDC will be taking a three week break in Sunday Night Lessons before Fall Semester starts. This gives us all a great chance to relax before we all get so busy again. We'll see you again Aug. 24!
